Baked Pasta with Béchamel Sauce
I had been looking at this recipe for a long time and always wondering how could that be possible it tastes good. Basesd on the original recipe, there is only prosciutto and fontina cheese in it that can give this dish some kick, and we all know bechamel sauce itself is pretty bland. Today I finally got the chance to try it. I was so afraid that it will be tasteless, so I added roasted chicken breast, peas, mushroom and tomato to make sure the flavor and texture is good. In addition, I used the tri-color pasta so the presentation can be attractive. Well, what I can say, I was wrong, it does taste good. The sauce is very buttery and creamy, which works well with other ingredients. I have some leftover for tomorrow's lunch.

This bento box is very simple. There is some leftover pasta which I made today. To balance the nutrition, the other tier is simply filled with broccoli. The pasta is based on Giada De Laurentiis's recipe of Baked Pasta with Béchamel Sauce. I made some changes by adding chicken, peas, tomato and mushroom. It tastes pretty good, though I skipped adding fontina cheese.

First-time Profiteroles
I didn't have the pastry bag to make these cuties, so instead, I just used a normal bag and cut the corner to let the batter out. It was not a very good substitude thought the final product was good.

Teriyaki Meatball
I was craving for some teriyaki meatballs but never had luck to make any teriyaki dish before. So this time I took my dad's advice that used some red miso while cooking. The meatball was made from scratch. The final product was very tasty!
